Times have never been better to get your feet wet and start making films, if that’s what you always wanted to do. Equipment to produce great-looking movies has become really affordable. Don’t let not having a lot of money or countless reviews of cameras, sliders, cranes, rigs and endless forum discussions about codecs, bitrates, resolutions, the best editing software, workflows etc. keep you from experiencing the most important thing – making films is a lot of fun.
And don’t listen too much to what other people tell you, including us. You will find out what works best for you, regardless of how many people you find who tell you it’s wrong.
This site tries to help in this endeavor by sharing some of our learnings and some of the stuff that works well for us. If you find something that helps you getting started – great. If you disagree with something, fine. Remember, these are just opinions.
